Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer/PCE Water Reducer
Grade
Other names: Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer , Water Reducer, PCE, or Polycarboxylate Ether/Ester. We supply liquid PCE, powder PCE, which can be used in different situation.
PCE of liquid form is convenient for concrete customers around. PCE of powder form is for mix mortar which is for export or long distance concrete customers, because it can be totally dissolved in the water.
Polycarboxylic acid is a functional polymer material that can adapt to different application areas by regulating its structure and nature. Among them, polycarboxylic acids synthesized by 6 carbon monomers have the characteristics of stable viscosity, excellent flow, and high watermark performance. Therefore, they have been widely used in the fields of cement concrete additives,cellulose calcium -based materials, gypsum calcium base materials. 6 Carbon Monomer Polycarboxylate superplasticizer 50% liquid WR and SR with much better effect of water reducing rate and adaptability in concrete admixture than previous 4C. Water reducing rate will be 15-20% higher than previous 4C.
Performance
Polycarboxylate based superplasticizer is a new type super plasticizer developed suitable for engineering projects under various weathers and primarily for using in hot climate area. It’s most effective high range water reducing in the market which the reducing rate can go up to 35-40%. Because of their low chloride and alkali content, no corrosion to steel-bar, high stability & environmental friendly and nontoxic characters, they have been warm welcomed in high strength concrete for railway, haven, traffic, bridge and electric power. It is excellent superplasticizer in premix of construction and cast-in-place concrete.
Cautions
1. Mud content of sand and stone and quality variety of admixtures has great effect on slump retention. So standard aggregate and admixtures are recommended.
2. After mix the product with water, then add into the mixed materials. The dosage is based on the cementitious materials weight, according to the concrete design, please adjust the water consumption or sand rate to meet users’ requirements.
3. When mixing and measuring the slump loss, be aware that it takes longer time to be in effect than naphthalene admixtures. Do not mix with naphthalene-based admixtures. If other admixtures, such as set retarder or corrosion-inhibiting admixture, are required simultaneously for some special projects, compatibility tests should be conducted beforehand.
Advantage
1. Low blend dosage and high water reduction. The blend dosage is usually 0.4%-1% of the gelled material and water can be reduced by 25%-45%.
2. Good adaptability. It adapts well with many kinds of concrete,especially suitable for formulating high strength, high flowing and high performance concrete formulating with active admixture such as fly-ash and slag. l
3. Slump of plastic retaining concrete seldom decrease and isn’t affected by temperature change. l 4. This product can significantly increase physical performance index and durability and increase resistance ability to deformation.
Package
Well-packaged product has a shelf life of 12 months since production. If exceeds the expiration date, it must be verfied through testing before use.
